Who is eligible for the Grant?

Each applicant and their partner must not have received a grant under a First Home Owner Grant Act 2000, in any state or territory of Australia.

Each applicant and their partner must not have owned and occupied a residential property, either jointly, seperately or with some other person prior to 1 July 2000, in any state or territory of Australia.

Each applicant and their partner must be a natural person (not a company) & must be over 18 years of age.

How much is the grant?

From the 1st July 2010 to the 30th June 2011 the First Home Builders Grant will be $26,500 in the Ballarat area. For more information visit this State Revenue Office website here.
